Greetings!

In 1996, after I had spent my first singing weekend with Ann Mortifee (www.annmortifee.com) and Shivon Robinsong (www.shivon.com), I rushed home to record something in my personal log which has become the mission statement for all my life's work:

"I want to sing so that people who hear me and sing with me will experience God within themselves"

Through the years, I have had similar and deeper experiences during concerts and workshops with Deva Premal (www.mitendevapremal.com) and on retreat with Gangaji (www.gangaji.org). I have, as they say, caught fire and now I'm finding ways of sharing the flame via concerts, workshops and recordings.

Out of all of the vocal work I have done, including roles in musical productions, as soloist for churches, leading chanting workshops and most recently as director of "Mystic Valley Voices", chanting has emerged as the most important contribution I can make.

Through a process which I do not understand and perhaps will never be able to describe in words, most people who chant with me seem to have a burden lifted. Others have mystical experiences and visions and still others have emotional breakthroughs and personal realizations. Perhaps these experiences are best summed up in the simple statement "It's just love"

It's my hope that in my capacity as vocal leader, I am giving people the opportunity to go back, back to the land of their souls, back to an experience of their unique and true Self.
